3 Reasons Apple Discontinues iPad 3

Apple made the decision that makes a lot of people surprised. The new third-generation iPad is 6 months old, was replaced with a 4-generation iPad was officially introduced on Tuesday (10/23/2012), in the United States.
iPad 3, which is known as the New iPad, iPad 4 is replaced with the now carries the official name "iPad with Retina Display". In fact, on the official website of Apple, the iPad 3 is already eliminated. The product line is currently only iPad iPad 2, iPad with Retina Display, and iPad Mini.
There are at least 3 reasons why Apple updated the iPad 3. (To simplify the mention of the name New iPad and iPad with Retina Display iPad 3 and hereinafter referred to as the iPad 4).
Updating the processor
iPad 4 using A6X processor, while the iPad 3 A5X wear. Both processors use the CPU (central processing unit) dual core processor, and GPU (Graphics processing unit) quad core. In addition, they also use design SoC (System-on-a-Chip), which combines the CPU and GPU on the same die.
However, Apple claims A6X faster performance than doubled A5X.
Following the standard Lightning Connector
Apple's mobile devices now have a new standard dock connector, an 8-pin, and named Lightning Connector. Lightning Connector is now used in the iPhone 5 and iPod touch generation 5.
iPad 3 is still using size 30 pin dock connector. For this reason, the Apple iPad replace the four that have been using Lightning Connector. This decision was taken in order to maintain ecosystem Apple mobile devices in the future.
Expanding LTE network
When announcing the iPad 3 in March, iPad 3 Apple informs that only supports 4G LTE network in Canada and the United States. Once the tablet is introduced to the market, Apple gets a lot of criticism because users in several countries, including Australia, can not connect to the 4G LTE network of their iPad 3. Apple even accused of lying to the Australian public.
Learning from the many protests, Apple seems to not want to let prospective buyers next iPad. Apple expands 4G LTE network support on the iPad 4, so that the tablet can be used in many countries.
Here's 3 reasons why Apple took the decision that may disappoint most of the owners of the iPad 3. Apple assured, it just did an update on the three components above. No changes to the other hardware specifications, as well as design.
